The inspiration for this painting was the old house in the background. It was an abandoned house that I would see every day when I went out walking. I would wonder how I could incorporate it into a painting. This is at last what I came up with. The day after I finished the painting the house was gone. It had been torn down.

If you choose to purchase this painting framed, the frame will be beautifully constructed and assembled by an accomplished framer and will include all the features you would expect from a professional framing. The colour of the matting and frame is chosen by experts to enhance the painting.
